The Myrtle Creek~Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce strives to preserve our small town charm while encouraging economic growth and development.
The incorporated City of Myrtle Creek and the unincorporated Tri City area just south of the City are located adjacent to Interstate 5, approximately halfway between the cities of Eugene and Medford, Oregon. The population of the combined area is approximately 10,000.
The Myrtle Creek-Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce has been active in promoting the Myrtle Creek-Tri City area by producing promotional brochures, sponsoring community events (such as our free Music in the Park concert series) and coordinating our efforts with other area Chambers of Commerce.
We are especially proud of the promotional video produced for us by ArtBeats, a local royalty-free stock footage company. A reduced-sized version of this exceptional video is shown in the sidebar, but you may view it larger in the 'About Area' section.
The Myrtle Creek-Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce prides itself in representing all of our members by serving as a link between businesses, government and private citizens. Recently we have been coordinating efforts with the newly formed Main Street Myrtle Creek Association, which was organized to oversee the Oregon Main Street Program, a statewide commercial district revitalization program administered jointly through the Oregon Business Development Department and the State Historical Preservation Office (SHPO).
All meetings of the Chamber of Commerce are open to the public. Please visit our 'Meetings and Events' section for a calendar of meeting dates and to read the Minutes of recent meetings.
The Chamber believes that the preservation, growth and promotion of local businesses is directly related to our economic success. Each month one Chamber member is selected as the 'Business of the Month'. The current 'Business of the Month' and a directory of Chamber members can be found in the section titled 'Chamber Membership'. All local businesses are invited to join the Chamber and you will also find a membership application in the 'Members' section, along with the form to nominate your favorite merchant as 'Business of the Month'.
