The Douglas County Fair has announced its’ music lineup for 2008. It will be a little bit country and a little bit rock & roll. The following artists will be performing:

Tues.,  August 5th:                   Country signer Rodney Atkins

Wed.,  August 6th:                    Classic rock group The Doobie Brothers

Thurs, August 7th:                   Bad Company, with former lead singer Brian Howe and special guest Edgar Winter

Fri.,  August 8th:                      American Idol 2006 finalist Kellie Pickler, the only female act to perform this year.

Reserved seat tickets for all performances are available at fairgrounds business office from 8 a.m. ~ 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at a cost of $25.00 each. General admission to all shows is free with fair admission.

The Douglas County Fair is one of the premiere entertainment events of the summer. Visitors to the fair should use I-5 exit 123, then follow directions of traffic control personnel to parking areas.
